24 Hour Dart Marathon

Thank you to all that took part in the 24 hour dart marathon, and also those that came along to support. The marathon started at 12 noon on the 28th December finishing 12 noon on the 29th December.  There was continuous darts thrown within the 24 hours, so there were heavy arms at the finish. What a tri-athlon!

Congratulations to Keith Diaper and Katie Blair Keith and Katie swam, ran and cycled their way to our offices last Friday 17th August, raising over £2500 in the process, with 50% going to FUN! They were welcomed with balloons and bunting and a big cheer by a small crowd (!) – they did arrive at 9pm at night after an exhausting but triumphant day.

Sarah’s Cycle Challenge

On Sunday 30 June Sarah Walker cycled 60K in a Cycle Challenge Race at the Woburn Cycletta raising funds for FUN. Sarah completed the course in 3 hours 16 minutes (with three stops along the way). Victoria Pendleton started the cycle race and there were over 700 ladies participating in 3 different races. Down at the farm

Judith and Malcolm Day (Members of FUN) arranged a day for friends and family to come together to celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary. They asked for donations to FUN instead of receiving presents and gifts. It was a great day out for all that attended, with bouncy castles and entertainer for the children, which gave the adults time to chat, catch up and enjoy
