Families United Network’s very popular Comedy Night is returning on the 15th September 2017.
Come along and join an evening of laughter, along with the option of a curry. Alcohol and soft drinks available at the bar.
We have a superb line up of comedians for you.
Brian Higgins – principal interests in life include himself, Scottish people, religion and of course drinking – but the difference in Brian’s case is that he is genuinely funny. Paid no finer a compliment than to be likened to an early Billy Connolly.
BENNETT AARON – Bennett has performed at all the major comedy clubs around the UK as well as entertaining audiences in Italy, Australia, The Netherlands, Germany, Poland, South Africa and Hong Kong.
KEVIN PRECIOUS – has performed his stand-up comedy routines at top venues all over the country inc: Jongleurs; the Glee; the Stand; the Comedy Cafe; and the Frog and Bucket. Added to this, he has worked for leading comedy agents such as Off the Kerb and Christian Knowles.
ANDRÉ VINCENT – is one of those rare entertainers who does it all. Comedian, actor, writer, director, presenter, singer, circus boy…a born show-off.
Doors open at 7Pm, curry on arrival, followed by Comedy.
Tickets are £12.50
Tickets with curry £15
Families United Network are looking for adrenaline junkies looking to take on the challenge of jumping from a plane at 10,000ft, doing a tandem skydive.
What’s it like?
Imagine standing at the edge of an open doorway in an aircraft flying at 10,000 feet – the noise of the engines and the wind ringing in your ears with only the outline of distant fields below. Now imagine leaning forward out of that doorway and letting go – falling forward into the clouds, diving down through the air as you start freefalling at over 120mph! Then imagine the peace and quiet as the canopy opens, the steering toggles come down either side of you and you begin a tranquil parachute descent from a mile up in the air, steering yourself back down to the centre of the drop zone below. Imagine being able to do this for FREE whilst harnessed to a professional freefall parachute instructor and at the same time being able to help a worthwhile charity! Stop imagining, it’s real and it’s happening all the time and you can be part of it…
If you are brave enough book your place here
You will need to pay a £40 registration fee to gaurantee your jump, then you will need to raise a minimum of £400 to cover the skydive and for Families United Network to receive approx £140 towards the services we offer families. You don’t need to stop at £400 as every penny makes a big difference to the charity.
