Following our Trustees meeting last night, it is with huge regret that we have to inform you that we will not be able to open any services until 20th April 2020. This includes all of our evening clubs, respite clubs, and our Easter Holiday Club that is now cancelled.
Given the government’s latest advice, we have no choice but to take this action in order to avoid all social contact, slow the spread of the virus and protect the most vulnerable amongst us.
We are very aware of how much our members rely on our services, particularly when schools are closed. Please be assured that we considered every possible option and did not come to this decision lightly.
We are reviewing the situation constantly and we will send further information about services beyond 20th April within the next few weeks as the situation evolves.
We will be opening bookings for our June respite sessions tomorrow (25th) as normal, in the hopes that these services will be able to go ahead – but this will be confirmed nearer the time. Unfortunately, we will not be able to take cash payments for the next few weeks, so payments for June respite clubs will need to either be paid online via our website or via bank transfer.
All members who have booked and paid for services between now and the 20th April will receive a full refund.
Our office will be closed for the next few weeks, but we will still be taking telephone calls and answering emails. Please bear with us if you are calling to make bookings for June respite services as we will likely have only one line operating.
